MagicMenu Lets You Use Your Mac Computer with Your Television

One deficiency with the Mac OS X is that there is no configurable option that the user can easily access to remove the top menu bar from the display. That means it's really undesirable to use the Mac with your TV as part of your home entertainment center. This frustration is expressed clearly on Macworld's Mac911 "Hiding the menu bar" blog entry.

But the good news is that you can use the free MagicMenu utility to make the top menubar auto-hide. When you move the mouse pointer away, the top menu bar disappears. when you move the mouse pointer to the top of the screen, the top menu bar appears.

With this free utility, you can now use your entertainment center-friendly Mac OS X computer with your television.
