Review of new episodes
CSI started as one of the most ahead of its time shows on TV but by creating a rivalry in its own franchise has started to go sour. With Warrick and Sara going out the door it just seems as though the foundations are being ripped out.
I must say I was deeply fascinated by their opening sequence with the girl running for help from the house while screaming and with blood all over her nightgown. Grissome's obvious distress over seeing the dead bodies of the teenage boys was excellent. The events that led to the murders are not for the faint hearted but I must say anybody in the situation of the teenage daughter will contemplate murder though I by no means want to imply it to be the actual solution. Dakota Fanning as usual is wonderful and your heart goes out to her. All the regular cast members have done their work wonderfully once again. Congratulations to the team for bringing together a wonderful episode.
Gil leaving also would prove to be the final nail in the coffin but hopefully Fishburne can rescue the show as it seems the new CSI's cant take the places of the old ones, one thing is for sure is that this series does not repeat it self, unlike the others.
Even without Grissom, these shows still have the rapport to continue. Fishborne seems to be the right replacement, even though he's not one of my most favorite actors. Losing Sara wasn't that hard to really effect the show, losing Warrick was sad and then losing Grissom, I thought for sure would end the show for me. But I was willing to continue watching to see if it would still hold my attention and definitely has over last couple shows. I'm still quite impressed with this show and it will always be one of my favorite shows to watch.
