Surprising End
About a month my husband got me hooked on Harper's Island. He decided that we were missing out so he began to watch all of the Harper's Island episodes on our computer. Well, as he was watching, my daughter became interested (while hiding behind a pillow.) Watching them both, I became slowly more and more interested. Admittedly, I too am a little bit of a wimp when it comes to "scary" movies. So as we watched each episode we began to pick our "favorite" for the possible suspect. Early on we were saying things like "Madison is a little creepy" and "Is Wakefield alive or dead???" It was a lot of fun. The ending, however, was a little bit too creepy. It just didn't make sense that Henry would have one epiphany during the riots and then decide to kill everyone for his father. The whole idea of him wanting to be all alone with his sister was a little too weird as well. The ending seemed a bit too rushed and the murders were out of character for Henry. It seemed as though they needed to tie it up too quickly and they chose a character that really didn't fit the mold. Overall, however, it was a lot of fun to watch and I'm glad we did.
