HEROES: A True History-Maker
History always beckons those that actually try making a difference by introducing something essentially new and 'out of the box'. As for the American television industry, the historical importance for the HEROES is immense.
This has been the show that has for the very first time tried changing the connotation of the word 'achiever'. While most of the science-fiction shows till the arrival of the HEROES have showed some 'non-human' characters as 'problem solvers', the HEROES never tried following their predecessor's footstep in portraying the characters. Americans, perhaps for the very first time in their lives while watching a science-fiction show, were pleasantly surprised noticing the phenomenon that the 'problem solvers' with some non-human qualities could be very common men and women. In fact, this quality of being able to identify with those individuals played a huge part in the popularization of the HEROES.
Thus, the news of the HEROES getting some not so positive feedbacks sounded like a real bad news for many of the ardent followers of the program. However, offering some relief to these ardent fans of the show, Tim Kring and his team has decided bringing back some of the most successful contributors to HEROES, once again. Not only that confident Kring with his entire team remains busy in pondering over the name of the volume four for the show. This last decision was a real confident-boosting one for the fans of the show to see that the crews are in a good shape to continue with their task at hand.
As various reports suggested that the name for volume four of the HEROES will be 'fugitives'. The reports further indicated that the name was revealed by none other than Tim Kring himself at the Edinburgh TV Festival, 2008. The show, as per the detailed reports, will be making up some twelve episodes for the third season of HEROES. The fourth season will reportedly start on February 2, 2009.
While writing about the crew members of the HEROES, the casting members somehow miss the attention. If we change our focus a little bit to the casting members of the show, a detailed list of individuals could be noticed that were equally responsible for the success behind the HEROES.
Primarily, as the reports stated, Kring was interested having a casting that will be ever shifting. Kring, as it seems now, had been interested in producing a show which will not experience some path-breaking successes. Amazing it may sound though, especially after experiencing the huge success of the show, soon Kring was compelled to change his motivation. It was a learning experience for him as well, when he noticed the popularity that his original casting received while producing the show.
The result was a far-reaching one with quite a few of faces of first season made a successful comeback in the second season. The audience saw most of their favorite stars making their comeback except for few who received star billing. In the very first season, the HEROES presented twelve main cast members. Reportedly, the number of cast for the HEROES made it creating another history. According to American television industry experts the number of casting members has helped placing the HEROES in the third place just after Desperate Housewives and Lost, in the total number of casting members.
With the kind of a path-breaking performance from the HEROES, we shall be waiting for more and more from its team. The show has truly created a history in the America and who does not know that, "The supreme purpose of history is a better world".
