Fun Moments This Week and a Look Ahead
I did enjoy seeing Ziva on the firing range with the marine that expected her to have a tough time with his gun. She fired a shot from the gun and said she preferred something else. He inferred that meant she couldn't handle the gun, but then she told him his site was off by a millimeter and we were shown that she shot right through the center of the head on the target.
Later in the show was a similar incident. It was when Tony and Ziva had to bring in the gang leader, Popeye. The gang boys were calling Ziva 'la bonita' and saying that a pretty girl like her could get hurt in a place like this. While Tony takes down Popeye, Ziva cleans the clocks of the other thugs and when the camera pans back they are on the ground in pain.
So one of the things I thought was funny was the opening office scene of the show. This had McGee telling Tony that 'Melinda' had called to say they had to postpone their plans. When Tony pressed for more information on the call, like Melinda who? Or what she sounded like or if there was a return number, McGee had no answers. Tony spent a good portion of the next segment picking on McGee for not giving him the information he needed to call back this mystery Melinda.
So, I had a couple of thoughts about this. After Tony had been so cruel to McGee a few weeks before creating a fake women for him to fall in love with online, at first I wondered if this was something McGee was making up to screw with Tony in revenge.
But then McGee spent a lot of his time searching down the person who made the call and I realized it was the real thing. Then I found myself wondering why he would put so much work into helping Tony. With all the things Tony does to McGee all the time, would you worry so much about him missing a call if you were McGee? I think not! I guess McGee is better than I am!
Now, on to next week. It looks like Tony is in trouble again. While it was a very short clip it seems that Tony is going to be framed for murder and will have to do the footwork to get himself out of it. Didn't something like this happen before? But I am sure the writers will keep it from being anything similar to what we have seen in the past!
