Jetlag a.k.a "The Orient Express"
If you've never read the Orient Express, you can clearly watch it on NCIS in the episode “Jetlag”.
Mr. Parsons is found dead in his bathtub, discovered by the maid. Turns out that Mr. Parsons was a marine and they think that he was killed a few days ago. In the safe they find watches and newspaper clippings - they think he was tracking investigations. They think he was moonlighting as a hitman. They also find a plane ticket and a picture of the whistleblower that Tony and Ziva are bringing from Paris. He was probably hired to kill her.
The Director thinks that something is not right since Tony and Ziva had not contacted him regarding returning from Paris with the witness they apprehended. McGee tells him that their flight was delayed. As they get on the plane, they meet the Federal Marshall that is to protect them on their flight.
Sgt. Parsons, the dead man, turns out was hitman. He had information on the whistleblower. They see a picture of her fiancee. They call him in and question him. Nora, the whistleblower, was scheduled to testify against a millionaire corporation. She found documents that Berenger was behind the whole thing.
Duckie says that Parsons neck was broken - probably done by a professional. Liv says that there were no prints or anything. She tells him that there was a call from a Holly Snow - a known Madam. They found an online pay account to hitmen.
So, to sum it up so far, a hitman killed another hitman - just to get to Nora first.
McGee thinks that the Marshall is somehow involved in the killing attempt.
Norah's fiancee attacked Berenger. Jethro talks to Berenger - probably to feel him out.
Ziva and Tony see that the Marshall has been in the bathroom for a long time. They open it and see that he is dead. Someone, the person that killed him, also took his gun. Now - the suspense begins.
Tony sends a picture of the print on the knitting needle (used to kill the Marshall) and they are able to match it, maybe.
Holly Snow finally gives them the account number of the person that wired money to commit deaths.. They find out that Berenger wired the money for the hitmen. He is arrested. But they realize that he is not guilty and that her fiancee hired the hitman. He was cheating Berenger and didn't want to be exposed when she exposed Berenger.
On the airplane, Norah comes up to Ziva and tells her she can't breathe. They don't know how the killer got to her. They realize that the flight attendant knew Nora was allergic to peanuts and lined her pillow with nuts. They quickly apprehend her - or at least Ziva does.
What a great mystery!!!!! This episode should definitely go down in history of one of NCIS' best.
