Characters still not growing on me yet
I'm not really sure why the cast of the show bugs me-- taken by themselves, there are some likable characters. There is not anything wrong in particular with LL Cool J, or "G" played by Chis O'donnell, or the girl with the long dark hair that can read lips-- but somehow, as a team, I don't think they mesh well.
In the most recent new episode, Abby from the original NCIS made an apperance and even that didn't help. I love Abby, she's a great character, but she had this really boring phone conversation with glasses/computer guy that did not help. I hate that guy. I also completely dislike the new guy, the one who posed as a policeman. Hettie irritates me, but she's at least an interesting character.
Perhaps the problem is just that there are too many people in the cast, so even after several episodes I feel like they are just flat and boring and distracting, because there is not enough time to have a dozen characters plus a plot.
I love the show NCIS, and I have tried to give NCIS LA a chance, but so far I just do not like the characters enough to keep watching.
