NCIS: Los Angeles Slowly Earning It's Name
I love NCIS. A great show with even better characters. When they killed Kate off the show it was with style and a believable plot. They even talked about her in later shows so it tied things together and kept the whole thing like a family affair. So when I heard there would be a spin off I was excited. But the first time the characters were on NCIS I didn't love it. I mean, it was OK, but nothing to tell a friend about. But the first few episodes of the Los Angeles show have now aired and I must say, it's growing on me.
LL Cool J is a charismatic actor and I like him a lot . He's a believable ex seal and really, who isn't happy to see his fine form on the screen for an hour. But Chris O'Donnell is stealing this show. Not as buff, and kind of shaggy and unfit to be ex-military, he nonetheless brings a quiet, emotionally troubled air to the show that keeps me watching. In the beginning they seemed to be people thrown together at work. As the show goes forward you seem to be watching them slowly become a unit, even a family. Can't wait for more shows!
