Past Lives was Great for the Present!
This episode of NCIS Los Angeles was fantastic. In it, we see another side of Callen - the undercover side. We also see how strong the bond is between him and Sam, as Sam goes out of his way to trail him and protect him.
Callen's friend is killed after contacting him - this friend believes that Callen is somebody he was friends with when Callen was undercover. This man, Gale, was just paroled from Prison and was probably contacting Callen to find out where the hidden money was. Another man that was involved in this, Donnelly, may have caused the shooting. Donnelly was paroled three weeks ago, so they think somehow he was involved.
Callen finds Donnelly and asks him about it. They have a conversation about Callen's relationship with Donnelly's sister, and while they do, Donnelly is shot. So now Gale and Donnelly are both dead. That may leave Perez. Callen, aka Jason Tedrow, was not shot in the shootout. Boyd - Donnelly's sister's fiance (Kristin)- may somehow be involved.
Callen goes to visit Boyd and realizes that he is probably not involved in the shootings. Callen is determined to find the man that killed her brother. Sam is helping him (watching his back) as he questions those that may be involved.
Kensy goes to visit Perez in jail to find out what is going on. He starts choking. They realize that Corby signed Boyd's court records - he was acquitted somehow.
Kensy then goes to visit Corby (for a date). Corby tells Kensy that he doesn't believe that Tendrow was in jail because he has been trying to track him for four years. He grabs her and asks her if she is knows who Tendrow is and tells her that he knows that she knows. Callen and Sam take him down and he is killed instantly.
Callen goes to visit Kristen. She tells him that the boy is not his son. She said she wanted him to wonder, so she didn't tell him. She tells him she doesn't want to know his secrets.
