Secret File on Director Leon Vance
I love that there are always a few questions left unanswered in the show every week that can keep my mind turning for another 6 days until I get to see the show again. In this most recent week's show I was left wanting to look inside an envelope to answer the burning question of "What's in Vance's Past?"
During the Broken Bird episode Gibbs had Agent Court (from the FBI who we got to know during the chase of The Frog in the Director Sheppard days) do a little research for him on Ducky's past. In addition to delivering Gibbs a 'Top-Secret' envelope with information about Ducky that Gibbs needed to get to the bottom of the case, he handed him another envelope as a 'good will gesture'. Written on that envelope was 'Vance', the new director.
That let me know something is in Vance's past that Gibbs can use down the road. Now I just wonder when he'll have reason to pull it out of that hiding place and show us what's inside . . .
