why ncis is my favorite show of all time
NCIS, also known as NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service, is my favorite show of all time. If you have never seen the show, it is kind of like CSI in the sense that it is a investigative show. It starts with a crime and most of the time, and more than likely, in the end, the criminal is caught. The twist on NCIS is that all of the cases involved in the show are related to the united states navy! But the whole point of the show is not just the "Lets think of a cool way that the guy could get killed in the beginning, let the audience think that he is not going to get caught, and than in some stroke of luck he is!" sort of deal like most criminal investigatory shows do. This show has a LOT of character. The show has tons of humor, involving head slaps and goth laboratory techs. No character is the same, not even close. My favorite of the main characters is Abigail "Abby" Sciuto (played by Pauley Perrette) who is the lab tech on the show. She has an insane obsession to the fake caffeinated beverage know as "Caf-Pow". She makes jokes nobody understands but it is still hilarious! She has a dark humor and enjoys her work, very much so. My second favorite character is Leroy Jethro Gibbs (played by Mark Harmon) who often goes, just by, Gibbs. He is the head honcho in the show and is the main character in all rights. He was a Gunnery Sergeant in the United States Marines until 1991 when Shannon, his first wife and his daughter named Kelly were killed by a drug dealer. Gibbs had taken revenge on the drug dealer who had killed his wife and daughter by shooting him, Gibbs later joined the "NIS", later renamed "NCIS", with Agent Mike Franks. He has married four times but he is currently single, which is often brought up on the show. It is also brought up a lot that he has a difficult relationship with his dad. One of his main characteristics on the show is his weird obsession with crafting boats. The name of the show has been change a few times but it's charm has never left it. It is currently on it's 9th season, still running strong. The best part of the show is it's inside jokes, including the head slap, which originated when one of the cast members hit somebody in the back of the head jokingly while they were shooting and the producer liked it and decided to keep it. NCIS is a show to talk about now, and in the future, so catch up and strike a convo with your fellow NCIS-ers
