The mentalist wonder which came first
The Mentalist is a TV show about someone who is hyper observant. He sees things others miss. He was a famous psychic but quit when his family was killed by a serial killer he was helping to catch. The killer called him on not being a real psychic so he now wont use that label but sometimes it seems as if he is and just finds excuses for why he knows things. As if he has to be hyper observant as an excuse for why he knows things. Like he knew where someone was and claimed he herd Mexican music and that's why he knew a certain person was in a certain Mexican town but that excuses seems weak as some reasons are. I'm not sure he could hear any music for one thing. I'd have to watch it again. The serial killer is called Red John and draws smiley faces on the wall in blood this may be somewhat inspired by a real life case. The mentalist appear to be happy most of the time but is still tormented over his families death and his feelings of guilt over it. He feels if he hadn't pretended to be a psychic, or at least been public about it, they might not have been killed.
