HEROES Storm into Third Session

Emboldened with the success of season one and two the HEROES started planning for its third session. As it turned out from the first two seasons that the concept of such a show, where seemingly common individuals play a vital role playing super-human roles, became extremely popular amongst the American audience.

Historically speaking, the HEROES will always be remembered as a show that brought out some of the greatest qualities in people around us. Importantly, no science fiction show till the HEROES arrival was able adding this special character where the audience was able communicating with super-heroes. Till the date before HEROES arrival the super-heroes were seldom related to the common people. In almost all the cases, from Spiderman to Batman through He-Man etc., the super-heroes were always regarded as creatures with different traits of non-human qualities and virtues.

The HEROES for the very first time directly brought some of these super-heroes to the realm of common men around us. Thus, the experience was an altogether new one for the audience of America.

While the first two seasons assisted the HEROES getting a hitherto unknown level of popularity, the third session was mainly a consolidating session of past successes. An inspired crews of the HEROES started their journey for the third session on Monday, September 22 in the year 2008.

While initiating the third session, the HEROES telecast two episodes both of which had a duration of 1 hour. In a pleasant surprise even before beginning its real show, the program spend 1 complete episode interviewing the members of the crew. The popularity for the show reached such a level that such an episode, felt the entertainment gurus, was necessary to make the audience acquainted with the crews and the cast members of the HEROES. The red carpet premiere which preceded the show was full of clips from various past seasons as well as preview for the episodes that had already been lined-up.

In a critical development, it came to the light soon that the 'villains' the plot for the third session was originally planned for the second session. Soon after this announcement, the interest for the show soared to a different level. Since the HEROES had already reached a new level of popularity the apprehension of missing a part of the show made the audience all the more interested in viewing the program. Indeed as some of the entertainment gurus later pointed it out that, inability of non-airing of the show did play an important role in raising the surprise level of the audience.

The effect of bringing this non-aired part to the third season of the HEROES had an effect on the entire telecast. Accordingly, Sylar was shown to be gaining back his long lost abilities. Incidentally, in the last episode of the third session the show ended showing Sylar loosing all his super-natural capabilities. While asked about these developments, Tim Kring answered that this new turning of the event will add a certain value to the show. While requested for further clarification, Kring added that this development would bring a posse of villains to the show. And therefore, Kring added that the naming was kept as 'villains'.
