Far from Reality
Naval Criminal Investigative Service, Los Angeles is a TV series which attracted millions of viewer worldwide. This is a series of crime investigation broadcasted originally in American TV CBS network. It is now being broadcasted worldwide and is one of the most viewed international TV programmes of all time. This is a very popular programme on TV which is viewed by viewer of all age, cast and nationalities. There are mixed review about this showcase. Most of the viewer like it ; some found it disturbing; some felt it is not a good programme to be watched on TV. The showcase is based on true stories, but showcased with added attraction, scientific flavour and use of modern technology. Scenes and cases that are shown in this series are nowhere near the real world as are the case of most of this kind of TV serials. One can see the easy way the criminals are being investigated and matched with the clues they left behind, but in real life, it took moths, years and even decades to solve one of these cases. Even with the combined effort of technical expertise, modern technology and consultation between countries, it sometime takes long time to solve one such case. But in general, this is a showcase that inspires youngsters to pursue their interest and to go for a career in CSI.
