NCIS Soundtrack Coming Out!

When you watch NCIS do you ever find yourself wondering 'what that music is' in the background? It seems they know you're interested in what you are hearing! There is an NCIS Soundtrack coming out next month.

Remember When Ziva was singing on stage when she was undercover as a lounge singer back in Israel, during the Last Man Standing episode? That really was her and the song is going to be on the soundtrack. It's called "Temptation".

If you watched last week's Episode, Broken Bird, the music that was featured in that show was Nitzer Ebb's "Promises", which is also on the soundtrack.

Going back another week, the song "Head Spin" was featured in the Caged episode and was performed by the group Collide.

The idea is that every episode from the beginning of this month on, will have one of the songs in the CD set featured in it. Think of each song as another week of the show. What a great concept.

The great thing here is that I have so many times found myself listening to the music and wondering just what it was called, who did it and where I could get it. Now they are doing all the work for me.

It's a two CD set that you can get February 10th. To give you an idea what's on it, there's music from John Mellencamp, Bob Dylan, Oasis, Seether, Nitzer Ebb, Jakob Dylan, Blue October, Dashboard Confessional, Sharon Little, Collide, The Airborne Toxic Event, Saving Abel, Perry Farrell and Will Dailey.

By the way, one of the featured artists on the NCIS soundtrack is my favorite Abby, Pauley Perrette. She is a singer and has a major music past. One of the tracks on the album is "Fear" which she wrote. It's listed under the group name of "Stop Making Friends".

Another thing to know, if you are a fan of Abby as I am, or you just like to know what is going on in that lab and what drives her to work as she does every day, the second CD in the set is for you. The name of the second CD is "Abby's Lab". It's all driven by the type of music that would be booming from the lab that Abby would double up with a Calf-Pow to keep going around the clock until the crime has been solved.
