Tony, Ziva, and Romance

This week's NCIS is beginning to let us see what is going to be happening in the romance explosion between Tony and Ziva.

One of the first scenes in this week's episode was McGee and Tony walking into the office and Ziva's phone is ringing. Tony picks it up and you can hear a man's voice at the other end of the call. He asks for Ziva and Tony says she's not there, but she comes around the corner and he hands over the phone.

When she takes the phone she switches to Arabic and Tony keeps watching her.

After she is off the phone Tony says, "Long distance can be hard.'

She calls him jealous. He says he's not. It's clear from his face that he is.

"Does he have a name?"

"Yes, he has a name."

"Trevor? Bruce? Marmaduke?"

"Michael�."

Ziva then gets another call a little while later in Arabic. After which she says, "Cover for me", and starts to leave

He asks when she will be back and she says nothing other than 'later.'

Tony is left in an office of all ringing phones and it gets to him.

He calls her cell to see what she is doing. She says she is working on a lead. But as the camera pans around, we see she's at lunch with Michael.

After she hangs up, Michael says, "Your father sends his love."

"What else does he send?"

Michael takes her hand and says, "me."

Between Tony's jealousy and the anger that is felt by him, as he doesn't know where Ziva is, I can totally see how this is going to boil up over the next few weeks.

Meanwhile, the end of the episode gave an idea of what is happening to Ziva in the future. As they were looking for suspects in the case, Abby comes up with a hit on a suspect picture - Michael Rifkin, Israeli thinker, the same Michael that Ziva was seeing.
