Abby, Biological Weapons and Baby Monitors, Oh My!

This week's show opens with a couple standing over their baby in a crib and singing to him. They are trying to get him back to sleep and once they do, they are listening to the baby monitor from the other room when something else cuts in. It is a man's voice saying 'help me... please help me'

The family called the police and NCIS is called in when the body of Marine PFC Michael Riggs is found in the docking area behind a warehouse building. In his hand was a military issue cell scanner that he was using to try and get a hold of 9-1-1, but that was what the baby monitor was picking up.

Among the things Ducky notices is that he has two holes on his neck that look like vampire fangs, which makes them immediately think of Abby and how much she will love the case.

Unfortunately, Abby is never going to get a chance to look at the case. As she is leaving the dentist's office, a woman approaches her and a few men flank the woman's side.

The woman comes up and says, "Abby Scuito ---- you need to come with us now"

Abby – "Where?"

Agent – "I'm not at liberty to say"

Abby – "Then I'm not at liberty to go"

Agent - "You don't understand, this is not a request...."

It turns out that Abby has been tapped to finish the work of a doctor that has disappeared in the midst of a job in an FBI lab.

With the FBI using Abby for their project, that means no one is back in the NCIS lab, so Tony, Palmer and McGee are being asked to figure out how to use Abby's Lab. Conveniently she has left a book behind that she created called "Abby's Lab for Dummies".

Even with that information, they manage to blow up some chemicals in the lab and have a lot of clean up work to do.

Meanwhile, Abby finds herself tasked with quite the job. She is told there is an ailment that is killing a number of soldiers and her work may help keep them alive. She even falls in love with one of the older men who is in the hospital at the facility and ends up focused on doing her job to help him.

I am not going to spoil what is really going on and who is behind the whole situation but it's a wow all the way to the end!
