NCIS 4/5/11

The latest episode of NCIS has my mind twisted with the entrance of this “Ray” character. Ziva deserves a love interest that is real. I'm not so sure this guy is. Is she doomed for all of her relationships to crash and burn? Her brother Ari, Michael, her father… Ray has to be the real deal this time, doesn't he? He just seems a little seedy to me. Even looks a little seedy and definitely acts a little seedy. Why would he not tell her he was a CIA liaison on HER case. Weird.

The entrance of EJ into the spotlight as Tony's love interest is rather annoying. I don't find her sincere. I am so glad Gibbs told her to leave Tony alone. Tony is another character that deserves some happiness with a genuine girl. He has had his share of heartache too, Jeanne, Cassidy. But like many, I think he has a “thing” for Ziva, which can never be acted upon and in the show, I am sure will be flirted with, but never close to having anything real happen. The idea is good, but they just don't work together. In the scene when Ray told Tony about wanting to confess his love for Ziva, Tony seemed bothered. Then Tony seemed pleasantly surprised when Ray told Tony Ziva talked about him, only to have his hopes dashed when Ray said, “She says you're like a BROTHER”.

Are these equally said relationship paths suppose to be what eventually brings these two together? Hmmm.

Relationships aside, I am freaked out about the eyeball in the ice! I am sure the eyeball does not belong to anyone we know, well, I hope so anyways. It must be another clue in the case of the “Port Killer”. Weird how they thought they had the killer and instead found him to be another victim in the freezer. I am thinking there must be a correlation between burying someone in the freezer and any eyeball in an ice cube. Not sure what the clue is though. This killer is obviously arrogant and playing a game. He thinks he won't get caught. I can't wait for next week's episode to see where the investigation goes. I am also hoping for more information on this Ray guy. I hope he turns out to be a good one and sorry Tony, but I doubt EJ is a good one. He needs to find another, like Jeanne.
