"NCIS" One Hell of a Ride

I have been watching detective shows on TV for a while now and few days back I stumbled upon an incredibly great series called, you guessed it, the one and only NCIS.

The best thing I think about this series is that, there is no usual gang of FBI, NSA, NYPD or other commonly seen government agencies. I don't know about you guys but I have seen enough of their investigations in so many series that I myself could conduct an investigation. Sorry for bragging but “I will do a kick ass job of it.” Forget me; I think any teenager worth their while can do a bang up job given a dead body. Let's face it after years of TV and movies, we have seen it all and learned it all.

So there I was searching for something different and I stumble upon NCIS. Totally different and kick ass. I was hooked the moment I saw Ziva David or should I say Cote de Pablo strolling across the screen. Not only was the characters an eye candy for all, but they actually were offering more to the show than just their good looks like other shows. Hats off to Mr. Michael Weatherly for finding and casting, such a fabulous crew.

The episode I watched was “One Last Score” from the 8th season. I know, major spoiler and believe me when I tell you that, I really wanted to off the TV and search the net for previous seasons. But the episode was so spell bounding that I ignored my head screaming spoiler alert and kept watching till the end with a happy heart.

I just loved the story line and the way the plot was depicted. It was real interesting to watch the characters in conflict with themselves when they knew that one of their own had gone rouge. I loved the characters and the way they connect and interact with each other. I also loved the forensic team at work and the NCIS style of investigation.

It was great to watch a totally different government agency at work, rather than the usual mainstream agencies. The Naval crew was a breath of fresh air. For all of you out there who haven't seen or heard of NCIS, all I have to say is, Dude get off your ass and start digging, because you are missing one hell of a show.
